Before doctors, medicine, or soap, survival meant knowing the land. Our ancestors used herbs, fire, and hygiene to fight illness, heal wounds, and keep the clan alive. ‘Stone Age SOS’ brings these forgotten skills back to life - with demonstrations and stories that show how health and survival were always intertwined.
Be transported through time and embark on an interactive and thrilling journey into the prehistoric world of our ancient ancestors this summer. Experience the excitement of the Stone Age in an action-packed day filled with live demonstrations, interactive fun, and unforgettable discoveries. This fun and educational adventure shines the spotlight on the hidden side of survival: prehistoric medicine, hygiene, and healing.
‘Stone Age SOS’ runs daily during the school holidays from Friday 18th July to Sunday 31st .
Daily Activity Schedule:

11am & 2pm - Ancient Remedies: ‘Healing plants and Stone Age secrets’

12pm & 3pm - Hunter Hygiene: ‘Stay Clean. Stay Alive’

1pm & 4pm - Fire & Survival: ‘Master the most powerful tool of all’
And keep a look out for Marmalade, our marvellous mammoth mascot; he’ll be doing meet and greets in front of the cafe at 10.30am, 11.40am, 12.40pm, 2.40pm, 3.40pm and 4.20pm.
